Real Life, Real People, Real Issues
There is a real enemy walking to and fro in the earth seeking whom he, she, or it may devour. That enemy is
the devil, Satan, luciferians, the adversary, the Great Deceiver-those who work iniquity. Those who hate.
Those who are jealous. Those who walk after the flesh. Those who are in bondage and yoked up with the
devil and can't get free and try to drag you down with them. Those who work to destroy the lives of humanity
in secret, and openly. He, she, it comes in many forms-dressed up, dressed down, in the workplace, in the
neighborhoods where we live, where we shop for groceries and buy gas, where we jog or walk for exercise,
or while on public transportation. The devil desires you that he may sift you as wheat but the Father has
prayed for you that your faith fail not (Luke 22:31-32). The attacks can be so cunning that if it were possible
the very elect could be fooled. But Jesus said that all who the Father has given Him, He has lost none, and
no man can snatch you out of His hands. Jesus said that His sheep know His voice and another they will not
follow. (John 10:5,10:27).
Stay in God's Word. Try the spirit by the Spirit which is the Word of God. You won't know what is happening
if you do not have a spirit of discernment. There are some who are forever learning and never come to the
knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:7). The devil is cunning. He, she, it comes to you dressed as a wolf in
sheep's clothing. The devil comes to you with a smile on their face, to make you joke, laugh, "tickle" or put a
"bug" in your ear; or some shiny new thing that you just have to have so it will make you feel and look good.
Some of you are "straight up" prey for the enemy. Satan salivates at the thought to "get to know you", "to
get close to you", "to be your friend", or "give the appearance that they know you", all for the purpose of
destroying someone's life. Satan can come to you one-on-one or the devil can unleash a coordinated attack
against you. (Let's get one thing straight. The devil has no power over a believer's life. Any attack from the
enemy on your life is allowed by God, for His purpose. The Lord wants to reveal some things to you and He
has got to allow attacks on your life that are so severe you think that you won't make it. But you will. The
Lord will be in the fire with you. He won't take you out of the fire but you will be like Shadrach, Meschach and
Abednigo singing praises to God from inside the fiery furnace; and when the enemy turns up the attack
twice as hot, three times as hot, whatever, they will see you and Jesus in the fire. That is God's will, plan,
and purpose for your life. Do not think it strange when these fiery trials come upon you (1 Peter 4:12).

Satan is so cunning and deceitful, that it is hard to believe that a person--so-called friend, co-worker or even
a family member who may be smiling in your face is the one who is trying to do you in. After the devil has
beat you into the ground, treated you like dirt, treated you like trash, as if you are not even a human being
they say "Let me help you". Sound familiar? Don't be paranoid. Everyone is not out to get you.
Satan operates as an angel of light, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Jesus said, "behold I send you out as sheep
among wolves, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16). Do not give that which is holy
to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6). It is imperative that you keep on the whole
armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2
Corinthians 10:4). Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth having on the breastplate of
righteousness; your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, your helmet of salvation, and the sword
of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit(Ephesians 6:10-18).
Finally brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might having done all to stand; stand
therefore in the liberty wherein Christ has set you free and do not return again to the yoke of bondage. Be
ye holy as I am holy, saith the Lord (1 Peter 1:16).
